Bardia Naderi is a talented Software Developer currently working at Shopify, where he has been a Dev Degree Intern since May 2021. In his current role, Bardia is part of the Revenue R&D Engineering team, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining Shopify's platform. Prior to this, he worked on the Shopify Fulfillment Network from May 2020 to May 2021, where he helped to optimize the network's performance and improve the customer experience. Before joining Shopify, Bardia co-founded Helping Hands App, a company focused on improving Canadian quality of life by implementing innovative methods that make communities more resilient to the increasing threat of natural disasters. His work on the Helping Hands App helped to solve three central problems during a natural disaster: inefficient evacuation, the inability to find resources, and a lack of communication. By effectively tackling these issues, Bardia's app had the power to help communities overcome the obstacles faced during a natural disaster. Bardia's education background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from York University's Lassonde School of Engineering, which he is set to complete in 2023. Prior to this, he completed his OSSD and Advanced Placement Program from St. Theresa of Lisieux Catholic High School in 2019. Bardia's technical skills are impressive, and he is proficient in a variety of software engineering technologies.
