Barkha Saxena is an experienced data scientist with a proven track record of working creatively and passionately in the information technology and services industry for the e-commerce and supply chain domains. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science at Northeastern University and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Machine Learning and AI from IIIT Bangalore and a Bachelor of Engineering in Manufacturing Engineering from BITS Pilani. Barkha is skilled in Python, SQL, Spring Boot, Angular 5, C++, and Google Cloud Platform. She is a Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer and has experience working with Bigquery, Sqlite, DB2, MySQL, Dialogflow, BigQuery, Google Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Datastore, and Cloud Storage. She is also proficient in AWS technologies such as S3, Lambda Functions, and Dynamo DB. Barkha has worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for courses in Data Structures, Algorithms, and their application in computer systems and Database Management Systems at Khoury College of Computer Sciences. She has also worked as a Software Engineer II at Drivetrain, where she designed and developed a copyrighted algorithm for calculating metrics from simultaneous equations in the SaaS business models. This helped in enhancing the performance of the application by 18 times and also served as a precursor to the what-if analysis feature in the application. Apart from her professional experience, Barkha is a curious learner and participates in various hackathons to enhance her learnings and level up the challenges. She won recognition in an AI/ML hackathon presented by Facebook and built a conversational business intelligence for e-commerce retail from scratch as a part of a hackathon.
