Barna Sarkar is a Quantitative Developer with a passion for data science and analytics. With a Masters in Mathematics from IIT Indore and a BSc Hons in Mathematics and Computing from IMA Bhubaneswar, Barna is currently pursuing a post-graduate diploma in statistical methods and analytics from ISI Tezpur. He is eager to apply his mathematical, statistical, and coding skills in the data science and analytics field. Barna has experience working in education-based companies, including Vedic Maths Forum India Pvt. Ltd., where he taught IIT and Olympiad aspirants and created content. He is currently working as a Quantitative Developer at Focus Energy Ltd. Barna is attending "Winter School Deep Learning" at ISI Kolkata and working on a project on "Stock Market Prediction." He is skilled in leadership and communication, having worked as a Placement Representative at Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Tezpur. Barna's education history includes a PGDSMA from Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Tezpur, a Master's degree in Mathematics from IIT Indore, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Institute of Mathematics and Applications. He also completed WBCHSE and WBBSE from Uttarpara Government High School. Barna's tech stack includes Data Science and Deep Learning, and he has 1.86 years of relevant experience.
