Barun Acharya is a highly motivated and enthusiastic student pursuing his Engineering in Computer Science. He has a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in the tech industry. As a Free and Open Source Software (F/OSS) enthusiast, he is dedicated to contributing to open-source projects and making his own projects as a budding developer. Currently working as a Software Engineer Intern at Accuknox, Barun is gaining valuable experience in the field of software engineering. He is responsible for developing and maintaining software applications, debugging and troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the quality of the software. Barun has also worked as a Student Developer for Google Summer of Code, where he expanded and refined various geographical features under the Public Lab's website. He standardized adding new leaflet environmental layers, increased content on https://publiclab.org/map, and made various other refinements. Barun's education includes a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, where he will graduate in 2023. He also completed his high school education at Indus Valley Public School in 2019. Barun's technical skills include software engineering, and he has relevant experience of 0.36 years in the field.
