Baskaran Krishnamurthi is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Seagate Technology with over 16 years of experience in storage system development. He is an Engineering Technical Leader with extensive expertise in open-source software, protocols, virtualization, languages, and operating systems. Baskaran's specialties include Zabbix, Puppet, Icinga, RabbitMQ, Python 2.7, and REST API in open-source software. At IBM, he developed a Fiber Channel emulator adapter for POWER AIX client, maintained VIOS NPIV stack, enhanced Round robin to handle reservation conflict, developed dynamic tracking feature that identifies the N-port Id changes and adapts the FC protocol driver automatically, developed and maintained FC and VSCSI stack, and developed PXE UNDI driver for DOS boot environment. Baskaran holds a Master of Technology in Laser & Electro-optical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Anna University.
