Beidou Wang is a highly accomplished Staff Machine Learning Engineer and Tech Lead Manager with over 12 years of experience in research and development of recommendation systems. Currently, he leads the Notification Modeling Team for Google Search, Google Discover, and Google News, providing personalized and timely notification services to billions of users. Beidou is a prolific researcher with numerous papers published in top conferences and journals in the data mining and AI fields, including KDD, WWW, AAAI, IJCAI, CIKM, and TKDE. He is also a regular program committee member for top AI conferences like AAAI, IJCAI, NIPS, ICLR, ICML, and UAI, and has served as a session chair for SDM and AAAI. In addition to his academic achievements, Beidou has won numerous national and global champions in technical competitions held by leading internet companies like Tencent, Baidu, Netease, Qihu360, and Trend Micro.
