Bejoy Thomas is a highly skilled software engineer with over 15 years of experience in L3 and L4-7, NP based data-plane development on Cavium, x86 Data-plane, CP development on embedded Linux. Currently, he is a Member of Technical Staff at Pensando Systems, where he is responsible for designing and developing complex software systems for datacenter networking. Bejoy has extensive experience with Cavium Octeon and x86 Data planes, x86 appliance/NFV bring up using DPDK, and good knowledge of C, Algorithms, Linux User space and Kernel space concepts. He has also worked on user-space L3 Forwarding, TCP, IP, IPv6 and L4-7 protocols, chassis and pizza box routers switches and ADCs. In addition to his technical expertise, Bejoy has a proven track record of quickly ramping up on new technology areas with minimal support, taking ownership of code areas, and leading, working and collaborating in geographically distributed teams. He has also worked with multiple cross-functional teams on customer escalations and feature requirements. Bejoy has previously worked as a Sr Software Engineer at Brocade and Cisco, where he gained valuable experience in software development and networking. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum (University of Kerala).
