Bency Baby is an experienced Scala Lead Engineer with a strong background in Big Data and AWS technologies. Currently, she holds the position of Senior Big Data Engineer at Nissan, where she is responsible for designing and developing Big Data solutions using AWS cloud services. Bency has over 12 years of relevant experience in the field of Data Engineering, working with some of the leading companies in the financial and automotive sectors. She has previously worked as an Assistant Manager at Barclays and as a Big Data Engineer at Capital One, where she was responsible for migrating legacy Teradata systems to AWS cloud, writing shell scripts and Java code for data conversion, and providing end-to-end delivery and production support. She also has experience working in an Agile environment and has exposure to ELK stack. Bency holds a B-Tech degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from C V Raman College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar, and has completed her schooling from Vyomayana Samastha Vidyalaya. She is an AWS Certified SA-Associate and has a strong understanding of AWS services like S3, EC2, and Redshift. Her tech stack also includes Big Data, Scala, and Senior Software Engineer. Bency is a proactive and result-driven individual with excellent problem-solving skills. She has a keen eye for detail and is always looking for ways to optimize and improve processes.
