Benjamin Dass is a highly motivated and curious software engineer with a passion for learning and discovering new things. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at StockMotion, where he is responsible for developing frontend features and UI using Flutter. He has also reworked backend endpoints to new database contracts, created new backend endpoints, and tested all new features being implemented on the backend. Benjamin has also created Firebase functions and endpoints for frontend applications and is currently working with the IEX Cloud API to figure out costs and quotes on trades. He has also created JEST unit tests to test the endpoints that are about to be released into production. Prior to his current role, Benjamin worked as a Software Engineering Team Lead at AmericaHealth, where he assisted in fully transitioning to a new EHR system while maintaining HIPAA compliance. He also solely managed and architected cloud solutions for AmericaHealth and built out CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodeDeploy, CodeBuild, and CodePipeline for the EHR system. He planned and set up the stack of the new EHR system and assisted with tasks, organized and led a team of 4 engineers to build features for the company. Benjamin also worked on fixing bugs that existed throughout the EHR system and troubleshooting the scraper not scraping particular documents. He also built out policies and work guidelines to encourage good and structure the work environment. Benjamin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering from Brigham Young University. He has experience with a wide range of technologies, including AWS, CI/CD, Backend, Docker, MySQL, Web, Frontend, and Flutter. He has 3.7 years of relevant experience and is a senior software engineer. Benjamin is a team player who enjoys working with others and is always willing to lend a helping hand. He is a quick learner and adapts well to new environments and technologies.
