Bennett Lee is an accomplished Associate Director of Engineering, University Lecturer, and Founder of MadeSimple.tv. With over 10 years of relevant experience, he is currently serving as a Teaching Engineer at Onramp, where he is leading month-long training programs and offering technical mentorship and guidance to engineers in onboarding to Twitch, Pandora, Blend, and Coinbase. Bennett has a proven track record of leading teams of seasoned frontend, backend, devops, QA, and data engineers to build scalable enterprise-grade platforms from the ground up alongside Fortune 100 companies. His practice area is in FinTech, where he has led the development of wealth management platforms, loan origination systems, digital wallets, and neobanks from sticky notes to commercial launch. Outside of his full-time role, Bennett is a University Lecturer at the University of Southern California Viterbi, teaching courses across the Mobile Development and DevOps programs. In his spare time, he hosts an educational platform called MadeSimple.tv, which makes complex topics simple to understand. Bennett's past experience includes serving as the Director of Engineering and Lead Engineer/Venture CTO at BCG Digital Ventures, where he built startups like SPIN, a neobank based in Mexico that offers seamless peer-to-peer transactions, loyalty programs, and integrations to POS systems for financial transactions. He also led the development of Lana, a neobank that offers a single point of access to financial services for the underserved, and ESI, a wealth management platform designed to help investors with their financial goals. Bennett holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, and a minor in Computer Science from the USC Viterbi School of Engineering.
