Beth Andres-Beck is a highly skilled and experienced full-stack developer with over fifteen years of experience in producing practical, performant, and well-tested code to solve complex problems. She is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at OneMedical Group, where she is responsible for working on the medications team on both legacy and greenfield Rails code. Beth is a part of intersectionally-feminist teams at companies with underrepresented folks in leadership roles, joining other skilled programmers to iteratively grow software that solves significant, systematic user problems. Beth has a strong track record of Agile team facilitation and management and has participated in and facilitated cross-company architecture decisions as a rapidly-growing team aligns on technical goals and solutions. She has worked as a Software Engineering Manager at Long-Term Stock Exchange, where she built a team writing software that addresses the core distributed systems challenges while ensuring inclusion, mentorship, and engineering best practices are built in from the start.
