Bhagya C is an experienced AI Engineer with a strong background in Data Science, Python, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP). She has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from the School of Engineering, CUSAT. Bhagya is currently working as an AI Engineer at impress.ai where she formulates solutions for NLP tasks using different text classification and text similarity algorithms. She also analyzes data using Tableau and derives insights from them. Bhagya has a demonstrated history of working in the e-learning industry and is skilled in NLP, ML/AI, Text Mining, R, Android SDK, and Logistic Regression. Bhagya has previously worked as a Data Science Intern at impress.ai where she worked on resume parsing algorithms and evaluated rule-based text extraction and ML-based text extraction in the context of resume parsing. She has also worked as an Event Organizer at TinkerHub, a non-profit organization that promotes the creation of tech-talent focused among youth. Bhagya has been part of organizing many tech-related events in collaboration with Kerala Startup Mission, Women Tech Makers, and Google Developers Group Kochi. Bhagya is currently pursuing a Master's in Applied Science in Computer and Software Engineering from the Université de Montréal - Polytechnique Montreal, which she is expected to complete in 2023. She also holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Cochin University of Science and Technology, School of Engineering, which she completed in 2019. Bhagya has a strong technical background and is proficient in various technologies such as AI, NLP, ML, Data Science, Python, Text Classification, and Android.
