Bhanu Harish Gurram is a co-founder of Ditto Insurance and Finshots, a financial education platform. He graduated from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad in 2018 and started his mission to simplify finance and financial products. Finshots is their flagship product, a 3-minute daily newsletter covering the latest and most important financial developments. With over 500,000 readers, it is one of the most widely-read financial newsletters in India. Bhanu and his team did not stop at financial news. They wanted to simplify financial products as well, which led to the launch of their latest endeavor, Ditto. Ditto helps people understand their insurance policies, get answers to their questions, and buy insurance in one place. The tool is designed to help people read their policy document in plain English, avoiding hidden terms and conditions buried deep down in the policy brochure. Bhanu's past experience includes being a Coordinator for the Student Placement Committee at the Indian Institute of Management and an MLDP (Marketplace Leadership Development Program) Intern at Amazon, where he received a Pre-Placement Offer. He has a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from IIT and completed his education at Sri Sai Vikas Junior College and Naveena Vidyaniketan High School. With 7.52 years of relevant experience, Bhanu is a seasoned professional in the financial industry.
