Bhanu Kashyap is a skilled Senior Engineer at OnePlus India R&D Centre Pvt Ltd. with a demonstrated history in working on Linux Device Driver development, AOSP, and bring-up of Qualcomm Snapdragon - 8xx, 7xx, 6xx series based on cortex-armv8. Kashyap is mainly responsible for core linux kernel stability and device boot-up issues debugging, by using Trace-32, gdb, and crash-utility on Linux ramdumps. In his current role as a Software Engineer at OnePlus, Kashyap has worked on Qualcomm Snapdragon SM7125, SM845, SM8150, SM6375, SM8250, and Mediatek 6765, 6893 chipsets. He has also worked on kernel and device-tree porting during initial model and upgrades. Kashyap has added support for different debugging mechanisms spread across bootloader (uefi - edk2 implementation) and Kernel drivers. He has also been a POC for market crash ppm issues debugging related to device crash/reboot. Kashyap has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Ranchi. He has also designed and implemented a remote ADB tool from grounds up to create a virtual device farm server by adding remote 'adb' and 'fastboot' capabilities over a network, allowing the team to tackle the shortcomings of work from home situation and debug/experiment with the patches on any available device. His tech stack includes C, C++, Dtsi, Makefile, Kernel - Memory, Drivers, Kernel Panic debugging, Client-Server architecture, and Python.
