Bharadwaj Kanukoti is an experienced Software Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the software industry for more than 4 years. He is currently working as a Software Developer II at PayPal, where he is responsible for building and maintaining highly scalable and transactional web services for the platform. Prior to joining PayPal, he worked as a Software Engineer at Target Corporation, where he effectively implemented real-time data processing using Apache Kafka, built end-to-end monitoring frameworks, and developed RESTful endpoints to cache application-specific data in Redis Cluster. He has also designed and developed microservices using Spring Boot and REST API for loss of service. Bharadwaj is an expert in creating REST services in a variety of languages best suited for the problem space. He has a strong engineering background with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT, Tiruchirappalli. He has a record of accomplishment with identifying underperforming backend databases and optimizing them to reduce overhead and improve speed. He has also created and implemented database designs, data models, and responsible for numerous end-to-end business intelligence projects with benchmarking and load testing. Apart from his professional experience, Bharadwaj has also served as the Publicity Head for Vortex'17 - CSE Department Symposium, which is an annual pan India technical symposium of NIT Trichy conducted by the computer science and engineering department.
