Bharat Beltur is an accomplished Operations Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Currently working with Amazon as an Operations Engineer II, he is responsible for setting up Material Handling Equipment at Amazon Robotics Sortable Fulfillment Centers from the ground up and managing the FC's until launch. With a data-driven approach, he has proven to be a valuable addition to the team. Bharat holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Technology degree in the same field from Amrita University. His MS thesis on Adaptive slicing in Additive Manufacturing (AM) using strip tree data structures resulted in key improvements such as reduced part build time and improved part finish. Having worked with Autoliv in the past, Bharat has gained experience as an Application Engineer in Curtain and Side Airbag Systems as well as Seatbelt Systems. His current role at Amazon involves managing large-scale fulfillment center projects and new building retrofits as a project engineer for automation and material-handling equipment. Bharat has led several successful projects, including a new building launch at DET3, an AR Sortable at Pontiac, MI, and a retrofit project at DTW1, an AR Sortable at Detroit, MI. In 2020, he led a new building launch at DSM5, an AR Sortable at Des Moines, IA. With his experience and expertise, Bharat Beltur is a valuable asset to any organization he works with.
