Bharat Bhushan is a highly experienced iOS developer with over 6 years of experience in iOS development, building apps for iOS, tvOS, and watchOS. He is currently employed as a Lead iOS Developer at Apple, where he is working on the Point of Sales retail app, which is being used across all Apple retail stores. Prior to joining Apple, Bharat was the Lead iOS Developer at Disney+ Hotstar, where he led a team of 4 iOS developers and mentored freshers. He was responsible for leading the design and architecture of the features on iOS and tvOS apps, and he architected the solution for consent management system and developed the framework to comply with GDPR regulations on iOS and tvOS apps using OneTrust. Bharat also led the team to launch the Disney+ Hotstar apps to SEA countries (SG, ID, MY & TH) and collaborated with the Disney+ team for launching Disney+ Hotstar in SEA and other geographical regions. Bharat's past experience also includes working as a Senior iOS Developer at Hotstar, where he was involved in feature analysis, design, documentation, development, and unit testing of features for iPhone, iPad, and AppleTV. He was responsible for shipping new features and maintaining the existing features in production by AB testing. Bharat also developed a User Session Management Library from scratch to encapsulate user-related functionalities so that it can be re-used across different apps and developed a custom framework that encapsulates the networking layer and all the web services used by apps by Hotstar iOS and tvOS apps. Bharat holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information Technology from NIT Patna. He is highly skilled in iOS, test, Swift, Mobile, CI/CD, Integration, UI, Backend, Web, Apache Hive, and Objective-C.
