Bharat Choudhary is a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with 2.69 years of relevant experience in Risk Analytics, Credit Risk Modelling, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Data Analytics, Data Mining, Data Visualization, Statistics, Information Retrieval, and Deep Learning. He is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at Capital Float, where he is responsible for building machine learning solutions for credit risk modelling, repayment models, income prediction, bank statement-based modelling, customer management modelling, response models, and model monitoring & validation. He is also involved in automation setup, including real-time & CI/CD tasks. Bharat started his journey as a Data Science Intern at Capital Float, where he contributed to an NLP project and feature engineering for the Walnut app. He built an automated framework using classical ML algorithms for SMS feature extraction, such as travel, existing EMI, expense, electricity bill, etc., for behavioural analysis and risk modelling. He has immense experience and understanding of bureau report data, bank statement, SMS data, geolocation-based risk/income, transaction data, repayment pattern, application data, etc. Bharat has worked on different POC/Alternative data, such as phone state, network, geolocation, transaction, internet uses, etc., for different modelling uses, majorly for fraud detection, underwriting risk assessment. He has identified and mapped different types of fraud patterns for BNPL & checkout finance products based on insight gained from alternative data, post disbursal data, repayment history, telecollection, etc. He created different features and built a fraud scorecard, first of its kind, which is the first level of defence for different products like Amazon BNPL, Axio App, AxioPL (Razorpay checkout, etc.), and has had a significant impact on cutting fraud in TTD population. Bharat has experience in Risk Analytics, Machine Learning, BI, NLP, Data Mining, Deep Learning, AWS, Sagemaker, GCP, Compute Engine (GCP), and Database Management (SQL, NoSQL). He holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science (Big Data Analytics) from Central University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Jai Narain Vyas University.
