Bharat Gera is a highly skilled and experienced software engineer with a passion for working on highly scalable, distributed systems that solve real-world problems. Currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Ocrolus, a document automation platform that powers the digital lending ecosystem, Bharat is responsible for system design and architecture of intelligent systems that can handle millions of requests and has introduced some interesting product features. Bharat has a proven ability to quickly iterate from an idea to prototype, and in the long term, he aims to develop products that solve real-world problems and make life easier. With 9.28 years of relevant experience, he has worked with some of the most renowned companies in the industry, including Jio, Grofers, and ValueFirst. At Jio, Bharat worked as a Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, driving the team for scaling backend services, system designs, and architectures. He was responsible for designing deployment and testing pipelines, building and scaling services for Jio Cattle Management IOT System, and developing highly scalable data engine services. He also designed scalable services for various dashboards and developed a data collector pipeline for consuming data from millions of devices deployed on the field. Bharat's key skills include Python, Golang, Cassandra, Redis, MYSQL, Kafka, MongoDB, Django, Flask, Prometheus, and Grafana. He has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in ECE from UIET Panjab University.
