Bharat Joshi is a seasoned professional with over 23 years of experience in ideation, design, and development of enterprise-grade, highly scalable software products and solutions. Currently serving as the Co-Founder of VuNet Systems, Bharat is responsible for customer success and products, as well as finance and operations at the company. He has also co-founded the India Internet Engineering Society (IIESoc) to spread awareness about IETF in India. In his earlier roles, Bharat was part of a team that conceived, designed, and developed a highly scalable and extensible software infrastructure for networking products. As part of this infrastructure, he developed a network operating system, software environment, networking protocols, and various toolsets. He has designed, implemented, and maintained various networking protocols like IGMP, PIM, RIP, NTP, etc. Bharat has been participating in IETF since 2004 and has co-authored multiple RFCs in DHC and PIM working groups. He has also contributed code to add SSM support in 'mgen' open-source tool and submitted a bug fix to NetBSD kernel. Before joining IIESoc, Bharat served as a Co-Founder of VuNet Systems, where he was responsible for brand development, technical and business strategy, customer acquisition, operations, and almost everything else that needed to be done. Prior to that, he worked at Infosys as a Product Technical Architect, where he was involved in ideation and development of multiple networking products and added event-driven programming support for services in the operating system as well as user space. Bharat holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering from H.B.T.I, Kanpur. He has expertise in infrastructure, senior software engineering, and test. With a relevant experience of 24.61 years, Bharat is a skilled leader and mentor who is passionate about learning, executing, and mentoring.
