Bharat Saraswat is an experienced Engineering Lead and Technical Product Manager in the FinTech industry. With over 13 years of relevant experience, he has a proven track record of delivering strategic business solutions and leading mission-critical applications optimized for large transaction volume. Bharat's expertise lies in building Real Time Low Latency Trading applications, and he has overseen their development at J.P.Morgan. Currently, he is coordinating the product strategy and development plan for Alternative Investments Technology within the Aladdin Product Group (APG) at BlackRock. Prior to joining BlackRock, he has led multiple initiatives in reg-ops, private wealth management, and sec-lending space. Bharat holds an MS in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad. His past companies include Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan, where he worked as a Software Engineer and Application Developer, respectively. At J.P. Morgan, Bharat was responsible for consolidating the Global Agency Lending platform onto one system with a modern architecture. He developed core foundational components and business services involved in the trade lifecycle. He also designed and developed schema objects in PL/SQL and wrote a multithreaded application that analyzes and processes large datasets of trade operations. Bharat's tech stack includes product management, software engineering, testing, SQL, normalization, QA, and Java. He wrote test suites using JUnit, Mockito, and Concordion and participated in support of the batch process and incremental system take-downs 24/7.
