Bharat Singh is a Senior Software Dev Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS), with over 8 years of experience in the Cloud industry. He has a strong understanding of large scale distributed services, databases, and control planes. Bharat is skilled in Java programming language and has a demonstrated history of working on various projects related to AWS and Cloud computing. Before joining Amazon, Bharat worked as a Software Engineer at Google, where he worked on the Google Cloud SQL Database Control Plane. He also led the Billing team for Cloud SQL, where he reviewed designs and features that impact billing, as well as built the next generation billing infrastructure for CloudSQL. Bharat was a key contributor to developing a next-generation Workflow Engine that executes long-running workflows used to perform operations on instances like Create, Update, Delete, etc. Bharat also worked as a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon, where he worked on Amazon Timestream from the design phase of the product to the preview. He designed and implemented the Storage Node Health Management System for Amazon Timestream's Control Plane. Bharat completed his Master’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Arizona State University in 2016, and his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College in 2013. He also completed his schooling in Mathematics and Computer Science from Delhi Public School in 2009. Bharat's technical skills include AWS, SQL, Software Engineering, Java, and infra.
