Bharath Bhushan is a highly experienced Software Engineer with over 17 years of relevant experience. Currently working at Glean, he has hands-on experience in software engineering design and development in various areas such as Big Data, Distributed systems, Bandwidth throttling, HTML server-side optimization, HTTP caching, and Policy infrastructure. Bharath has been a part of teams that have built high-performance big data engines, optimizing proxies, distributed security infrastructure, L7 routing, and more. He has also managed teams that have added performance optimizations to open-source big data engines. Prior to Glean, Bharath was the Principal Architect at Drishti, where he gained extensive experience in software architecture and design. He has also taken some time off to focus on family and learning new things, mainly machine learning. Bharath holds an MTech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a B.E. in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University and RV College of Engineering. His technical skills include Software Engineering, Big Data, Infra, Senior Software Engineering, and Machine Learning.
