Bharath Sekar is a seasoned Software Development and Engineering Lead with over 15 years of experience in Information Technology consulting and entrepreneurship. He has worked for leading telecommunication operators across the globe, including the United States of America, Mexico, Argentina, Philippines, Serbia, Croatia, Tanzania, and Burkina Faso. Bharath's experience spans across Wire-line, data, and mobile technologies. Bharath has worked as an internal pre-sales consultant, helping sales teams to come up with pricing and estimation for complex Telecom provisioning system deals. He was also part of the solutions consultant group that came up with the requirements for the LTE provisioning system roll-out for the leading Mexican Telecom provider. Bharath managed the technical team that worked on integrating the LTE/3G/2G dynamic SIM provisioning and activation product, which provisioned more than 10k activations per day with a 99.9% success rate. This implementation was widely appreciated by the customer, resulting in close business ties and repeat business. Apart from his telecom experience, Bharath has Business Development and Product Management experience in a startup. He developed the go-to-market strategy for a SaaS-based product targeting the retail industry. Bharath was responsible for the company's business in Canada. As a part of the assignment, he consulted with a Kingston (Canada) based storage space rental company to optimize its inventory management system. Bharath also established a partnership between a Montreal (Canada) based consulting company and the startup. Bharath holds an executive management degree from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and pursued a full-time exchange program at the Queen’s School of Business, Canada. He did his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy. Currently, Bharath is working as a Principal (VP) Software Engineering at eaigle. He has previously worked with Huawei as a Senior Engineer and co-founded Nowanswers Corp. as its CTO.
