Bharath Venkatesh is a highly skilled ML/AI Research Engineer with a strong background in mathematics, computer science, and engineering. With over 8 years of relevant experience, he has a proven track record of designing and implementing end-to-end AI-based applications. He possesses specialized knowledge in machine learning, data mining, natural language processing, and graph algorithms, as well as strong software engineering skills gained from industry experience and his time at university. Currently, Bharath is a Senior AI Researcher II at American Express (amex), where he is responsible for developing cutting-edge AI/ML fairness and ethics solutions. He is also involved in the development of Natural Language Processing and Information Retrieval solutions for the company. Prior to this, he worked as a Senior Research Engineer and Research Engineer at amex's Big Data Labs, where he designed and implemented natural language to SQL conversion systems. Bharath holds an Advanced Masters degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Leuven, a Master of Science in Engineering degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy).
