Bharathi Swaminathan is an accomplished AI/ML professional with over 16 years of experience in the industry. Currently working as an AI Product Manager at Facebook, she is responsible for driving attribution efforts for Classification Space in Integrity (Trust and Safety) across Facebook family of applications. She has also successfully launched a 0 -> 1 product for ML Lifecycle Management and repositioned an existing declarative ML framework for various new initiatives on ML pipeline management. Prior to joining Facebook, Bharathi worked as a Product Owner for Client Analytics at PlayStation, where she identified gaps in the organization and built a business case to form a data team to serve 40+ internal teams. She was responsible for defining strategy, prioritization, building roadmaps, and execution in collaboration with the team & XFN partners. She also led GDPR efforts for all PlayStation products and successfully implemented GDPR compliance for 42 teams at PlayStation. Bharathi also envisioned a module to collect high-value signals from apps across multiple platforms and defined pipelines to pre-process the data and store it in the data lake for ML consumption. Bharathi has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Ciena Communications, where she worked on a high capacity CN5430 switching platform performing infrastructure software development using C++, Linux, and Perforce. Bharathi holds a Master's Degree in Software Engineering with a Development Management Track from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Madras. Her tech stack includes AI, product management, ML, software engineering, and infra.
