Bharatwaajan Balaji is a forward-thinking student at IIT Madras with a passion for innovation and teamwork. He believes that success is achieved when everyone moves forward together, a philosophy he has embraced throughout his academic and professional career. Currently, Bharatwaajan is a Global Runner Up and Innovation Consultant at ixl center - center for innovation, excellence and leadership. In this role, he has honed his skills in innovation and leadership, working with a diverse range of clients to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Prior to his current role, Bharatwaajan gained valuable experience working with some of the world's leading companies. He was a Silver Category winner at the Shell Sustainability Hackathon and a National Runner Up at the L’Oréal Sustainability Challenge during his time at Shell and L'Oréal, respectively. Bharatwaajan's academic background is equally impressive. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering at IIT Madras and is set to graduate in 2022. He also attended Chettinad Vidyashram for his high school and secondary school education. Throughout his academic and professional journey, Bharatwaajan has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and a willingness to learn. With just under a year of relevant experience, he has already made significant contributions to the field of innovation and leadership.
