Bhargav AK is an experienced Embedded System Developer currently working at Bosch, where he is designing and developing assistive devices for people with disabilities. He is the brain behind the Multi Point Audio Switch (MPAS), an award-winning assistive device for visually impaired people that has won a National Award conferred by NCPEDP. Bhargav has worked with NGOs, cross-functional teams, and people with disabilities, which has given him the forethought required to design systems from the ground up. With over 11 years of relevant experience, Bhargav is well-versed in embedded systems design, programming, and manufacturing. He is an active contributor to Open Source Hardware (OSHW), Linux kernel, and Deepspeech. Bhargav's passion for technology and his desire to make a positive impact on society led him to spearhead the development of MPAS, which is aimed at bringing more blind people into the mainstream workforce. The device is designed to have a simple learning curve, so people with little exposure to technology can get employed in the skilled sector with minimal training. Bhargav's past experience includes working as a Senior Engineer for System Software Design and Development at Sasken, where he worked on Android Lollipop upgrade analysis, Linux Kernel development, and Android Build system analysis and development. He also worked as a Project Intern at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), where he developed drivers using VHDL to control and coordinate the functioning of various devices that make up the LIBS instrument. Bhargav holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University in Electronics, Telecommunication, and Embedded Systems, and a Telecommunications degree from Dayananda Sagar University. He also completed his Pre-University education in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science from Sri Kumarans Composite College.
