Bhargav Maddikera is an all-rounder with a strong background in engineering and technology leadership, technical and enterprise architecture, big data, data science, EAI, SOA, SaaS, ETL, DevOps, B2B, B2C, and fintech. He started his career as a national table tennis player and later pursued education, becoming an engineering and technology leader. Bhargav has worked in organizations of various types, including startups, corporations, and product development companies, and has a constant inclination to learn and strive for technical and delivery excellence. Bhargav has represented India in the seniors/men's table tennis team and has won several accolades in Tamil Nadu, including state championships and gold medals in South Zone and All India Inter-Universities. He has a logical bent of mind and a passion for learning, which has helped him excel in his career. Bhargav's technical skills include big data processing, querying, and search engine and search analytics, as well as integration frameworks, enterprise service buses, web services, and workflow management. He has also worked with microservices, design patterns, and architecture principles. Bhargav has experience in Hazelcast and Infinispan for in-memory data grid and data warehousing. Currently, Bhargav is the Head of Engineering at Zeta, where he is handling and leading over 60 engineers across multiple teams, including fintech, benefits, and quality assurance. Previously, he was the Head of Engineering at Blackstraw.ai, where he led a team of 25 engineers and played a dual role in delivery and technical leadership for the successful launch of a fintech product. Bhargav has also worked as a Manager of Software Development at Zeta, where he handled and led the technical delivery of two product development teams. Bhargav's tech stack includes senior software engineering, big data, ETL, data science, DevOps, integration, search, software engineering, SRE, Spark, NoSQL, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Spring, web, AI, and test. With over 18 years of relevant experience, Bhargav is a seasoned professional with a passion for delivering technical excellence.
