Bhaskara Kempaiah is an accomplished Operations and Engineering professional with over 25 years of experience in the industry. He is currently the Center Head for India at LiftOff LLC, a business accelerator that works with early-stage companies and entrepreneurs to build products and launch companies. At LiftOff LLC, Bhaskara is responsible for the core engineering work done in India and gets to work with cutting-edge technologies and experiment on new platforms and frameworks. He specializes in building lean UX-based single-page apps using AngularJS framework and has been focusing on front-end development lately. Prior to joining LiftOff LLC, Bhaskara was the Center Head for India at UberMedia, where he was responsible for setting up the engineering team for building social network products based on Twitter. During his tenure, he led the team in building a highly scalable rich tweet messaging system called Chime.in, which made good news on launch but struggled to sustain the growth momentum. Before that, he was the CTO at eMarket, a leading trade company in the Europe region, where he built the tech team and helped build an online trading platform to scale and ease the operations of the company. Bhaskara is a natural farmer by passion and an investor at Organic Mandya. He has a strong technical background and expertise in front-end development, AngularJS, and senior software engineering.
