Bhavia Raj is a skilled software engineer with a strong background in internet industry. With over 7 years of relevant experience, Bhavia is proficient in a range of programming languages including Node js, Angular, Python, Java, PHP, C++, CSS, and SQL. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from IIT Ropar. Apart from her technical expertise, Bhavia is also skilled in dancing and basketball. Currently, Bhavia is working as an intern at DESIDOC Lab, DRDO, Delhi. During her 10-week internship, she developed a search engine based on a crawler for DRDO website. She used technologies like JSP, MySQL, and utilities of Java platform for the same. Previously, Bhavia has worked as a Software Engineer at Quad Analytix, where she was a part of the Data Extraction Team. Her responsibilities included adding features to the python-based extraction platform and developing extractors using technologies like Python, Java, and CSS. She also monitored and troubleshooted the data extracted with the help of Tableau software. The technologies used to store extracted data were MongoDB and Amazon Redshift databases, and deployment was done on AWS Amazon EC2. Bhavia has also worked as a Software Engineer at Indifi in the past. In terms of education, Bhavia completed her Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from IIT Ropar in 2015.
