Bhavik Sankesara is a senior technology leader with over 17 years of experience in the software industry. He specializes in identity/access, payment security, cloud security, and offline payments acceptance and selection. Bhavik is currently a software development manager at Amazon, where he leads a team of 30+ engineering members, including developers, QA, and DevOps/SREs. He is highly skilled in Java/J2EE, cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS), microservices, Docker, REST webservices, Python, and Agile. Bhavik has deep experience in project execution, leading teams of managers, costing, billing, designing complex architecture, and excellent collaboration skills. Bhavik also handles Amazon Business App, offline customer payment experience, and PAPG, a localized platform for retail, LPA, and digital clients for disbursement and collection workflows supporting 300 TPS. He handles a team of 30+ including Sr SDEs and multiple managers. Bhavik's past experience includes working as a software development manager at CA Technologies, where he led a strong team of 12 engineering members and worked in the space of merchant risk analytics. He also worked as a tech lead at Oracle, where he led a team of 10-12 members and managed product backlog with product owner and epic, use-cases, and sprint planning. Bhavik has experience in core Java, microservices, cloud security, Docker, REST, single sign-on (SSO), Grizzly, Gradle, Maven, Python, GIT, Json/XML, Oauth/OpenID connect, and SAML.
