Bhavuk Jain is a Senior Security Engineer at Certus Cybersecurity with over 7 years of experience in various fields of mobile development including iOS native development, React Native development, web and mobile security. He is passionate about making the internet a safer place for everyone and takes a keen interest in researching mass-scale user data abuses, data leaks, and how user data is shared over the internet. Bhavuk is currently doing full-time bug bounty hunting and takes part in live hacking events around the world. He has an impressive track record in bug bounty hunting, having been ranked #2 in Facebook Security 2018 and #5 in Yahoo Security 2017. He has also received the Most Creative Bug Award at the Bounty Bash Nepal 2019. Prior to his current role, Bhavuk worked as a Security Researcher at Stacqtrace and as an iOS Developer at 3embed. At 3embed, he worked on developing a home automation system to connect to electronic devices via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, as well as integrating external libraries and frameworks. He also worked on developing on-demand delivery services and focused mostly on the driver side. Bhavuk holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from UPTU and a React Nanodegree from Udacity.
