Bhavya Pruthi is a highly skilled and accomplished Product Manager with over 4 years of experience in the technology industry. Currently working at Cisco, Bhavya has a strong background in SaaS and IoT, having previously worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Samsung Research Institute in Bangalore. During her time at Samsung, Bhavya led the mobile app team for Elderly Care, where she designed and prototyped a service that enables elders to be independent while letting family monitor them. She also identified the usage of wearables and apps as critical pain-points of elders through empathy interviews and secondary research, and designed a product offering with a bundle of IoT sensors to enable health monitoring without wearing wearables or operating apps. Bhavya collaborated with UX designers and the Data Science team to pioneer a tracking dashboard and create an analytics engine for alerts, and implemented a solution for identifying mishaps using computer vision and activation of emergency response using smart speaker. Her efforts resulted in a significant reduction in emergency response time from 10 minutes to 10 seconds. Bhavya's technical expertise includes product management, mobile development, software engineering, research science, computer vision, data science, and Android development. She has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, and is currently pursuing a PGP in Business with majors in Strategy and Marketing from ISB.
