Bhavya Sankhla is an experienced Software Engineer currently working as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Oracle. With a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from DTU, Bhavya has a demonstrated history of quickly climbing steep learning curves to create high impact in challenging roles. Bhavya is technically proficient in Java, Spring, SpringBoot framework, Oracle JET, Apache Kafka, and Oracle Analytics Cloud. He is also developing Cloud Product Analytics (ACP360) which uses the Boomerang JS library to monitor end-user performance by capturing even the minutest events the user does on the application. Bhavya has implemented a Machine Learning driven SLA auditor which predicts the runtime of ETL jobs and compares them against SLA, to send out notifications ahead of time. He has also built a model on Python (pandas, numpy, fbprohpet, catboost) which auto trains daily with the latest pipeline data to notify for jobs which are running beyond expected time and are expected to fail. Bhavya has implemented Apache Kafka to receive events from Boomerang JS and store it in a messaging queue. He has also implemented Kafka to manage consistency of data between micro-services to minimize data loss. Bhavya has implemented Quartz Scheduler to schedule and manage ETL activation plan job runs. Additionally, he has developed an application "Job Management Console" using SpringBoot and Oracle JET v7 (UI framework) that is used by DevOps to view and manage production jobs related to Analytics Data Warehouse (ADW). Before joining Oracle, Bhavya worked as a Technology Associate for Publicis Sapient, where he worked on the Marks and Spencer e-commerce portal and migrated IBM WebSphere Commerce from version 6 to 7. He was also a developer in CFTO (Christmas food to order) team to develop e-commerce solutions for UK & Ireland. Bhavya delivered JAVA 8 code for order management portal.
