Bhavya Sinha is a passionate mid-level Backend Engineer with over 7 years of relevant experience in the field of software engineering. She is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Grail where she is responsible for developing and maintaining the backend of the company's software applications. Bhavya's journey in the world of programming began during her high school days when she discovered her love for coding and solving math problems. She pursued her passion by studying Engineering in Computer Science and later went on to do Masters in the same field from the University of Southern California. Bhavya started her career as a software engineer at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Bangalore, India where she worked on various projects related to Electronic Document Management System, Repository Management, Application development, and Automation for General Electric and Swiss Re. She then moved to Los Angeles and worked as an intern at Lootsie, a startup, where she developed a Customer Service Tool and SDK. At Saviynt, Bhavya worked on developing Splunk Apps, IAM, and APIs of the product. It was during her time at Saviynt that she got the opportunity to work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and was eager to work on the development part of it. She eventually joined AWS as a Software Engineer and worked on Elastic Block Store - Snapshot, Framework, and other related projects. Bhavya is a firm believer in maintaining a work-life balance and believes that an emotionally balanced life is the key to a successful professional career. Outside of work, she loves spending time with nature, reading books, and socializing. Bhavya's technical skills include Software Engineering, Backend development, SQL, AWS, Java, and Web development. She is constantly striving to learn and grow in the world of programming and aims to become a Principal Engineer in the future.
