She completed her Bachelor of Technology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in 2020. During her academic career, Bhawana has worked as a Research Intern at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi and Microsoft. At Microsoft, she worked on building an orchestration engine for surveying using multiple UAVs, advised by Dr. Venkat Padmanabhan and Dr. Srinivasan Iyengar. Currently, Bhawana is pursuing her PhD in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
