Bhawna is a passionate software developer with a strong interest in communities and hackathons. With over 2 years of experience in the field, she is a DevRel at Unsnarl and also the Founder & Lead Organizer of SheBuilds Hacker Community. She is a MLH Fellow'22 and a mentor at SSoC, Codess.cafe, and MLH. Bhawna is also a Blockchain Enthusiast and a WOC'21. Bhawna has earned over $1000 from freelancing in Android and Web Development and has mentored over 100 students. She is a strong advocate of open-source programs and has participated in several, including Winter Summer of Code'21, JGEC Winter of Code'22, and Hacktoberfest'22. She has contributed to various open-source projects and has been awarded as one of the best project mentors. In her previous roles, Bhawna worked as an MLH Summer Fellow at MLH Fellowship, where she collaborated with a multicultural team to develop a pod portfolio based on Ruby, HTML, and CSS. She also developed a highly responsive and performant weather app using React. As the founder of SheBuilds, she organized a successful hackathon with 2500+ hackers and 180+ projects, helping around 1000+ hackers and organizing different workshops. Bhawna holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Hans Raj College and a High School Diploma in Computer Science from Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidhalaya Yamuna Vihar. She is skilled in Blockchain, Web, Android, Software Engineering, and Frontend development.
