Bheemasen Ashreet is a Senior Technical Lead at Huawei Technologies India with over 9 years of experience in software development. He is an expert in C and C++, analysis, design & development, data structures, algorithms, agile methodologies, distributed file systems, distributed transactions, write ahead logging (WAL), Kafka, multi-threading, and synchronization. He has extensive experience working on distributed systems and IMS-Core network, and is proficient in Session Initiation Protocol. Currently, Bheemasen is working on distributed file systems metadata handling, specifically for files, directories, and DTrees. He has worked on high-performance distributed scalable file systems, metadata, and distributed transactions. He has also worked on snapshot supported directories called Dtree, compliance and enterprise WORM features, and implemented fingerprint features single-handedly. Bheemasen has experience in implementing write-ahead logging frameworks and integrating Kafka clients to push metadata changes to indexing features. He is currently working on the design and implementation of GFS. Bheemasen has worked on various projects including RFC 3261 compliant SIP server, SIP forking and forward forking, MSML RFC 5707 compliant IVR and conference features, MSCML RFC 5022 compliant IVR and conference features, and HOT-HA (High Availability) feature for all the NGIN-SIP components. He has also ported all the SIP components to WIN 32 platform and implemented IPV6 support to NGIN-SIP adapters. Bheemasen holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from B.V.B.
