Bhumit Attarde is a sophomore engineering student with a passion for software development and a keen interest in algorithmic trading and FinTech. He is currently working as a student software developer for Google Summer of Code 2021 at KDE, where he is responsible for adding FUSE support to XFSTESTS regression testing suite and integrating it with KDE KIO-FUSE. Bhumit has previously interned as a software development engineer at Zerodha and CAGT, where he gained valuable experience in writing performant yet maintainable production-ready code. He is a strong advocate of open-source software and FOSS philosophy, and regularly contributes to KDE's KIO-FUSE and maintains Zerodha's CPPKiteConnect trading SDK. Apart from his technical skills, Bhumit is also well-versed in national and international affairs, particularly related to finance. He enjoys keeping himself updated with the latest geopolitical and financial news and coming up with better trading strategies to trade leveraged equity shares listed in India. Bhumit holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Engineering from RAIT, with an expected graduation year of 2023. His tech stack includes software engineering, backend development, testing, and web development, and he has relevant experience of 0.26 years.
