Bhupendra Shah is a highly experienced Director of Quality with over 17 years of experience in software quality assurance. He possesses expertise in functional, automation, and performance testing, and has managed teams of up to 25 members in the Agile/Scrum development model. Bhupendra is an expert in healthcare, e-commerce, mortgage, RPA, and CRM domains, and has significant experience working with geographically distributed teams in India, the US, UK, and Australia. Bhupendra is a committed manager with strong work ethics and a focus on quality and customer commitments. He is an experienced people and technical manager of offshore teams, and his key responsibilities have included test strategy planning, automation strategy and framework, release planning and management, team building and leadership, hiring, performance appraisals, mentoring, and coaching to form high-performing teams. Currently, Bhupendra is the Director of Quality at Evolent Health, where he is responsible for ensuring the quality of their products and services. Prior to joining Evolent Health, he worked as Senior Manager QA at Katalyst Technologies, where he led a QA team of 25+ members of internal and external projects. He was responsible for setting up best QA agile practices and processes with business goal defect prevention, coaching, training, and mentoring the team on automation, performance, and API testing, and identifying automation tools. Bhupendra was also responsible for overall QA delivery of quarterly major releases as well as monthly sustenance releases, continuous collaboration and communication with different stakeholders like project, product, and development manager for smooth execution of the project, and mentoring new comers, career development of each direct report. Bhupendra has a Diploma in Advance Computing from C-DAC and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Telecommunication from Government College of Engineering. His tech stack includes QA, test, Selenium, UI, SDET, Java, and integration.
