Bhupinder Garg is a highly experienced technology leader with over 15 years of architecture and development experience in finance, e-commerce, and logistics domains. He is an IIT CS graduate who has contributed to a variety of products, from high-frequency trade platforms to scale-agnostic service-oriented multi-tenant solutions. Bhupinder is a business-first technologist with a long-term mindset who believes in practical, buzzword-free engineering. He loves SAAS, experimenting, and coding. Currently, Bhupinder is the CTO of Unicommerce, where he has expanded his journey in the supply chain, graduating to upstream problems like supply chain network modeling, warehousing, procurement & order and inventory management. He has taken care of product and engineering, including backend, frontend, app, integrations, QA, DevOps, SecOps, and Data. Bhupinder has hired and developed an 80 member strong high-performance team. He drove the product on its pivot to the enterprise space and expanded the product portfolio to D2C, B2B, newer industry verticals (FMCG, beauty, pharma, etc.), newer client profiles (3PL, marketplaces, rollup brands), and newer geographies (SEA, MENA). He has set up leaner processes to improve the agility of product development and new enterprise integrations. Bhupinder has cut costs through re-architecture, infra rightsizing, and contract negotiations. He has improved the system availability to 4 9s and halved the TCO while growing 10x in a period of 3 years, processing 1.5MM new order items a day. In his past roles, Bhupinder has worked as Director/Architect at Snapdeal, where he architected the next-generation logistics platform. He led a team of 25 in building a multi-tenant open logistics platform (OLP) that processed upwards of 300K shipments every day with ~60K last-mile deliveries/day. Bhupinder has also worked at Amazon, where he defined and delivered highly scalable web services for the marketplace platform. He built many firm-wide multi-tenant platforms from scratch, including an automated document recognition and extraction platform using computer vision at scale and a secure document management platform for confidential documents. Bhupinder has a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Roorkee, and he has also completed his +12 and High School from D.A.V College,
