Bhuvan Kapoor is a Lead Quality Engineer at Gojek, with over 5 years of relevant experience in the field of software development and quality assurance. He is a skilled QA professional with expertise in Python, Java, Ruby, Cucumber, TestNG, BDD testing, TDD testing, Analytics, Shell Scripting, Rest-client, Non-functional testing, System testing, and more. Bhuvan has a demonstrated history of working in an enterprise as well as across different stages of startups. He has worked with Harness and upGrad in the past, where he held senior positions as a Software Engineer in Test and Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, respectively. At Harness, he worked for the Platform team to bring change in how software is delivered in the industry. He used TDD approach and kept scalability in mind while ensuring the use of the testing pyramid with a good UT coverage, Rest assured automation for backend and Selenium for frontend. At upGrad, he took care of Test automation architecture and infrastructure and followed the BDD testing approach using rest-client for backend automation, selenium web driver for frontend, Gatling for non-functional load/stress testing. Bhuvan has also managed teams and individually contributed to the scaling aspect of the projects. He has taken up ownership of release pipelines, CI/CD, and nonfunctional infrastructure setup for scalability and system testing. Bhuvan holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Engineering from NIT Durgapur, a post-graduate certification in Data Science from IIIT Bangalore, and has completed his schooling from Birla High School in Mathematics and Computer Science.
