Bhuvana Bellala is a Software Engineer II at Microsoft with over 6 years of relevant experience. She has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Information, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. At Microsoft, Bhuvana has been involved in developing several POCs to validate BnM Stack migration to Dynamics 365. She has gathered functional requirements and designed a modular system of services to migrate Microsoft BnM financial and supply chain onto Dynamics 365, which are the building blocks for unifying Online and BnM Microsoft Stores onto one stack. Bhuvana has led engineering development of these systems and ensured robust telemetry, alerting, reporting, testing, and CI/CD pipelines. She has also designed and added components to this system to support SAP Supply Chain and finance Integration. The system comprises Azure Durable Functions using .NET Core and connected using Azure Event Grid and Cosmos DB. Bhuvana is currently working on extending the functionality to enable Microsoft BnM small business sales integration with SAP. In her past roles at Microsoft, Bhuvana has maintained and added features to Azure classic cloud services that enabled integration between Microsoft Online and BnM Stores and supported omni-channels. She has migrated a critical Azure classic cloud service onto Azure service fabric that improved engineering maintainability and scalability. Bhuvana has also helped design an inventory management service that significantly improved the efficiency of associates at the Microsoft BnM Store. She has developed one of the Service Fabric microservices for the inventory management service and maintained the entire inventory management service after go-live and added features as per business requirements. Bhuvana has also developed automated tools that installed required security updates across all Azure Resources owned by her team, used Azure Runbooks, and migrated the API that powers the events displayed on the Microsoft BnMs online web presence. Bhuvana has co-founded Innowaste, a startup that aims to revolutionize the recycling industry. She has validated MVP through pilots, field interviews, and financial analysis. Currently, she is in LAUNCH startup accelerator focusing on go-to-market strategy and app development. Bhuvana is leading a team of three developers to develop the web application. Bhuvana's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Azure, Integration, CI/CD, test, Web, Microservices, and Senior Software Engineering.
