Bibhash Thakur is a dedicated and motivated Senior Software Engineer at Dell with over six years of experience in the field of computer science. His expertise lies in C/C++, Python, and Linux/FreeBSD system programming, with a strong understanding of OS fundamentals, computer architecture, and networking. He also has a strong academic background in Machine Learning and Computer Vision. Bibhash is a passionate engineer who is always looking for opportunities to grow and develop his skills at the bleeding edge of innovation and research. He is currently working at Dell as a Senior Software Engineer, where he is responsible for solving critical issues in the areas of BMC, IPMI, Chassis and Enclosure managers, and other platform infrastructure. Prior to this, he worked in the Firmware division of Dell EqualLogic, an iSCSI-based storage array product. Before joining Dell, Bibhash worked as a Teaching Assistant at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, where he oversaw the lab executions of B.Tech 2nd year courses, Data Structures and Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming. He explained how theoretical algorithmic concepts worked practically and how they could be implemented and generated test cases that checked both logical and syntax-based understanding. Bibhash holds a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka and completed his High School education in Science from the Faculty Higher Secondary School. He also attended Don Bosco School, Guwahati. Bibhash's tech stack includes Software Engineering, AWS, Computer Vision, Python, C, ML, Research Scientist, infra, test, and Java.
