Bijoy has worked as a UX Design Lead for sulekha.com, where he was responsible for re-designing the user app and redefining the entire service booking experience. He created an end-to-end strategy and product roadmap by collaboratively working with other stakeholders within an agile product design format, leveraging user research, usability testing, and product analysis by applying a user-centered design approach. He also worked as a Design Researcher for vihara innovation network, where he led the qualitative research and strategy design process for a public healthcare project sponsored by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. His key area of responsibility was creating the research plan, designing research tools, conducting field surveys, user interviews, and applied ethnographic studies in multiple geographical locations. Bijoy's education history includes a Master of Design degree from the National Institute of Design, a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Jadavpur University, and a Pre-Degree in Art/Art Studies from Visva Bharati, Shantiniketan.
