Biplab Sarkar is an all-weather tech leader with a passion for coding, technology, and food. With over 15 years of experience in the software industry, he has played different roles and responsibilities while still being hands-on with coding. He is a technology leader with full hands-on expertise in various technologies such as C#, PHP, PYTHON, PERL, NODE.JS, ASP.NET, SCALA, JAVA, Android development, and more. He is also skilled in databases such as SQLSERVER, MYSQL, MongoDB, DYNAMODB, POSTGRES and front-end technologies like JAVASCRIPT, CSS, HTML5, REDUX, REACT, JQUERY. Currently, Biplab is the Chief Architect at Zee5, one of the top OTT platforms in India, where he provides leadership in raising teams and mentoring them from ground zero. He has built many core components and is responsible for multiple technology verticals such as AWS infrastructure management, CI/CD automation, core backend APIs, website development, MarTech automation, AdTech integration, content automation, news automation, and very large scale communication box. In his past roles, Biplab has also served as Head of Technology of LivingFoodz (at Esselgroup) - OTT | Digital Media, where he created an online OTT platform and an online food delivery ecosystem powered by cloud technology. He has also worked as a Sr. Engineering Manager at WizIQ, where he was responsible for EdTech, E-commerce, and microservices. Biplab holds a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He is skilled in various technologies such as AWS, Android, Microservices, Javascript, dotNET, ASP.NET, PHP, Mobile, MySQL, iOS, MongoDB, Redux, Postgres, Web, SQL, CI/CD, Integration, Backend, ETL, Elastic Search, Research Scientist, and DevOps. Biplab is a strategic decision-maker and last-stop technology solution provider who mentors a bunch of new generations. He still steals time to get in touch with coding quite often, despite his current job profile giving him very little time for his hobby with keyboards and fingers.
