Bishwas Pattnaik is a Software Developer In Test II at Whatfix, with over 4 years of experience in automating applications for API and UI. He is an expert in the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) in Agile. Bishwas has developed Test Scripts to implement Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and features using BDD and Cucumber. He has also automated API integration/ end-to-end test cases using Karate & Rest-assured. Bishwas has designed and developed an automation framework from scratch for API as well as maintenance of existing framework. He has worked on selenium for automating one of the products. Bishwas has performed database integrity tests to create db script with SQL commands to extract the actual result. He has used continuous integration and build tools (Jenkins, Maven) for scheduling Regression, Sanity and End-To-End testing. He has exposure to both Github and Bitbucket. Bishwas has enabled E-mail notification and Slack notification for each test result. Bishwas has developed a framework for validation of all the data-feed with self-developed HTML report with desired stack-holder notification. He has hosted the report and made it available across the company by pushing the report to Amazon-S3 bucket. He has exposure to AWS infrastructure. Bishwas has created his own test-management tool, which will have results of each run and test report by using mobilitystream (a JIRA plugin). He has suggested many changes to the product manager regarding the product behaviour and error handling. Bishwas has worked as SDET 1 at Plivo and Senior Software Engineer in Test at MIQ in the past. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Biju Patnaik University and completed his High School from Apex Institute of Science.
