Currently, Blake is a Software Engineer II at Microsoft, where he is a developer of Microsoft Purview, a unified data governance platform that helps companies map, discover, classify, govern and manage their data, wherever it resides. He successfully built and launched the V1 product with an extremely tight timeline and market competition, delivering to S500 customers and scaling growth over 30x. He developed and drove critical milestones and launches, built and deployed to over 20 regions + government clouds, and partnered with Azure Synapse, Azure Machine Learning, and Microsoft Research teams. Prior to Microsoft, Blake worked as a Software Engineer II at Discovery, where he delivered backend APIs to support the launch of Food Network Kitchen (FNK), a mobile app that rapidly gained customer acquisition as the holiday season began. He also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Capital One, where he developed microservice architecture using AWS cloud technologies to support customer-facing applications.
