With over 16 years of relevant experience, Bobby is passionate about solving problems elegantly through engineering discipline and creativity. Throughout his career, Bobby has built and managed global-scale public-facing cloud-native systems across healthcare, biometrics, identity, psychometrics, and space tech manufacturing domains. He is experienced in transforming teams and adopting DevOps culture and tools. Before joining Blue Origin, Bobby worked as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Capital One, where he was responsible for building cloud-native digital payment products. He also served as Head of Architecture & Cloud at SHL, where he led cloud, DevOps, and architecture transformation, building global scale highly available systems to deliver SHL's people insights applications. Bobby leveraged emerging technologies in software development and cloud engineering, implementing self-healing and deployment automation through infrastructure code and pipelines. Bobby holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Philosophy from the University of Maryland, where he graduated in 2006. He is skilled in Senior Software Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, and infra-tech stack. Bobby is a problem solver, a leader, and a team player.
